It aims to provide a planning policy framework to guide future sustainable developments for the town
The Draft Sallins Settlement Plan is now live.
It replaces the expired Sallins Local Area Plan 2016 – 2022 (LAP).
The Settlement Plan will provide a planning policy framework to guide the future sustainable development of housing, employment, transportation, retail and social infrastructure for the town of Sallins.
Submissions will close at 4pm on May 20th, 2026.
Speaking on this morning's Kildare Today, Naas Cllr and Cathaoirleach of Kildare, Carmel Kelly, said walk-ins will be held over the coming weeks, in which a hard copy of the map and proposed plans will be available to view.
