Irish Water is conducting repairs to a leak outside the town's fire station.
It means suppy to Castle Park Estate, Mill Lane and their hinterland will be impacted.
Works begin at 10am, and are due for completion at 5pm this evening.
Irish Water says it could take up to three hours for the system to refill, and for normal supply to resume.
