There's anger among many firms in Sallins over the lack of parking in the town.

That has been exacerbated by some of the outdoor dining measures introduced to the town, with the permission of Kildare County Council.

This includes the time-scheduled use of some parking spaces by certain hospitality business.

Such measures are in place in many towns and villages across the county.

However, some local businesses and residents, while supporting the measures in theory, are having a negative impact.

Sharon Nolan lives in Sallins, and owns Nolan Properties Sales and Rentals.

Speaking to Kildare Today, says there is a disprortionate support for the hospitality sector.

Sharon Nolan joined Clem Ryan on Tuesday's edition of the programme, along with Fianna Fáil Naas Municipal District Cllr., and Sallins resident, Carmel Kelly.
