Thousands of locals will gather at six locations in anticipation of tomorrow morning's Darkness Into Light.
Over 100,000 participants are expected at more than 230 official walks across four continents as part of Pietas' annual walk.

People will depart from locations in Athy, Celbridge, kilcock, Monasterevin, Maynooth and Naas.
The walks begin at 4.15 am.
