Gardaí are investigating a serious burglary in Athy, where two firearms were stolen during a home invasion.
Three men entered a house in the Townspark estate between 6.45pm and 7pm last Monday evening (January 5th).

Two shotguns were taken - a Mistral over-under and a Winchester single-barrel shotgun.
All three men are described as tall, slim and in their mid-twenties. One wore a navy jacket with the hood up.
Another wore a grey fleece, black tracksuit bottoms and a snood covering his face. He had brown "mousy" coloured hair.
The suspects may have been travelling in a black BMW.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information, or who saw suspicious activity in the area at the time, to contact them.
