Investigations are ongoing
As part of Operation Tara and ongoing investigations targeting those involved in the supply of controlled drugs and related crime in County Kildare, Gardaí conducted a day-of-action today (Thursday).
In the course of operation planned searches were conducted at seven residential properties and lands in the Sallins area.
Cocaine worth €8,000 was recovered and €34,000 cash was seized.
Three individuals, two males in their late teens and one in his early 20s, were arrested and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda Station in the county.
The operation was lead by the Kildare North Drugs Unit assisted by the Naas Detective Unit, Divisional Search Team, Garda Dog Unit and other local units.
The drugs seized will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.
