RTÉ’s This is Art! competition continues to spotlight Ireland’s young artistic talent, with entries this year showcasing incredible creativity across various mediums. Two exceptional young artists from County Kildare have earned top awards, standing out among the competition's brightest stars.
Supported by Creative Ireland and the Shared Island Initiative, This is Art! inspires young people under 18 to share their creativity and connect through art.
Kildare’s Winners
1st Place (Ages 8-11): Uishe Delahan (10), Leixlip – ‘Glitch’
2nd Place (Ages 8-11): Abbey O’Brien (11), Kildare Town – ‘Tears of Beauty’

Both winners impressed judges with their talent and creativity. First-place winners receive a custom-designed trophy by Irish artist Maser, while runners-up will receive prizes to support their artistic growth.
