Two Motorcyclists Injured In Serious Collision Near Athy

The road is closed for an examination, and Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.

A motorcyclist in his 20s was seriously injured in a crash near Athy last night.

Another motorcyclist, also in his 20s, sustained injuries believed to be non-life-threatening in the collision, involving a car and two motorbikes shortly after 7.30pm yesterday evening in Booleigh near Athy.

They've both been taken to hospital for treatment, while there were no other injuries reported.

The road is closed for an examination, and Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
