Two people in their 20's from the Athy area have been arrested following the false imprisonment of a man over the weekend.
A man was taken from his business in Athy and held at knife point in a car by three people.
Gardaí conducted two searches in the area on Monday, where two of the culprits were arrested.
The pair are detained in Kildare Town Garda Station.
A file how been put forward for direction to the Director Public Prosecutions.
