Union Criticises RSA Tester Training Practices.

Training includes a live driving test with people who are sitting their test, placing three people in the car at the one time.

The Road Safety Authority is being criticised by the Unite trade union, over driving instructor training practices.

New testers are being trained to tackle the backlog for tests, which currently stands at over 105,000 people.

Unite’s driving instructors branch has said that the RSA is failing to comply with social distancing recommendations.

Dominic Brophy is Chair of Unite's Approved Driving Instructor Branch.
