Gardaí are appealing for information after a watch and a generator were stolen from a house in Donadea over the weekend.
The incident occurred on Saturday 15 August at around 9:30am in the Painstown area near Rathcoffey.
The occupant of the house says they heard suspects at the back of house trying to gain entry, the occupant then fled the scene.
Speaking on Kildare Today, Naas Garda Mo Nerney says the suspects then gained entry through the front door and "ransacked the home".
The items taken included a white Seiko Gents watch, with no inscription on it.
A Pacini single phase generator, model number Pcg3500, was also stolen.
According to eye witness accounts, the suspects then fled the scene in a black Mazda, with the registration number or model unknown.
Gardaí from Leixlip are now seeking any witnesses to this incident or anything suspicious in the area to contact them on 016667800.
In particular, they are seeking anyone who has any information on a black Mazda car acting suspicious in the Painstown area of Donadea.
