Uisce Éireann has warned of water supply disruptions across parts of North Kildare.
Residents across North Kildare were advised to prepare for potential water outages last night due to critically low levels at the Allenwood Reservoir.
According to Uisce Éireann, extremely high demand over the past 24 hours has led to water levels dropping significantly, forcing operations to be temporarily suspended.
Areas affected include Coill Dubh, Prosperous, Derriturn, Kilmeage, Robertstown, and Allenwood.
Usice Éireann says supply is expected to return this morning from 8am, but it may take up to 24 hours to fully restore.
