Wolfe Tone Commemoration Taking Place In Bodenstown Today

The Fianna Fail Party will meet in Bodenstown this lunchtime for the annual Wolfe Tone Commemoration.

Party leader Tánaiste Micheál Martin will deliver his traditional speech before laying a wreath at the Irish revolutionary's grave in Bodenstown.

Wolf Tone is remembered as one of the founding members in Belfast and Dublin of the United Irishmen, a republican society determined to end British rule, and achieve an accountable government in Ireland.
