Wrap Up Warm For A Cold Day In Kildare

Wintry showers likely, but don't unpack your skis.

It set to be a cold day in Kildare, with temperatures of just 3 to 5 degrees

Northern counties could see a dusting of snow on high ground as Storm Arwen has brought high winds and frosty air

Donegal, Sligo and Mayo among the counties worst affected.

Over 100 trucks have also been ground to a halt in Northern England as snow battered the region last night.

Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather says wintry showers are likely here, but don't unpack your skis.
