178,000 people were on the Live Register in April
The number of people on the Live Register or the Pandemic Unemployment Payment dropped by nearly 10 per cent last month.
The CSO says there were nearly 178,000 people on the Live Register in April - down about 3,500 from March.

And during the last week in April, 385,000 people were on the PUP - which is 58,000 less than a month earlier.
This figure is also down 220,000 from a year ago.
