15 Complaints In 2024: Irish Film Classification Takes Heat For Garfield And Saltburn

The Irish Film Classification Office received 15 complaints last year for its age ratings.

The G-rated Garfield movie was among those complained about to the film body, with one cinema goer claiming it was too violent.

One person said their child had “nightmares” since viewing Garfield. They said the film shows a “kidnapping from the home, the victims being strung upside down in a warehouse, child abandonment, violence, threats, I could go on.”
