The latest Medicine Shortages Index, which is put together by Azure Pharmaceuticals, also shows 13 treatments on the WHO's, 'critical medicines' are currently unavailable here.

Pharmacist, Sheena Mitchell, says legislation here is seeing drug manufacturers being paid less for some medicines:
