Rosslare Europort Faces Disruption Amid Fuel Protests

Rosslare Europort is nearing capacity as ongoing road blockades threaten ferry operations and freight movement.

Rosslare Europort is facing growing disruption due to road blockades linked to ongoing fuel protests.

Port officials have warned that ferries may soon be turned away, as freight traffic is currently unable to move efficiently through the area.

Harbour Master Tom Curran, indicated the port is approaching full capacity, with concerns that by Sunday there may be no room left for incoming freight.

The situation could impact sailings to and from mainland Europe, with the port handling dozens of weekly crossings now under pressure.
