British Police said the 44-year-old man was detained on Friday and appeared at Court this morning.

A man has been arrested in the UK over two fatal shootings in Spain.

British Police said the 44-year-old man was detained on Friday and appeared at Court this morning.

He was arrested in the Liverpool area on behalf of Spanish authorities and the extradition process could see him returned to Spain.

Police said the arrest was in connection with a double shooting on the 31st of May, where Eddie Lyons Jnr and Ross Monaghan, were shot dead by a hooded gunman outside an Irish pub in Fuengirola.
