Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
A 29-year-old man has died in a car crash in Co Louth.
He was travelling on the Carstown Road in Drogheda before 11pm when his car hit a tree.
He was the only occupant of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí are appealing to any witnesses who were travelling on the Ballymackenny Road and Carstown Road last night to contact them.
