Up from €80.
Clamp removal charges are due to go up to €125 from March the 1st.
The Business Post reports Minister Eamon Ryan has given the go ahead to the increase, up from 80 euro previously.
It will apply to any local authority area where clamps are used as parking enforcement, however that is most prevalent in Dublin City Council's territory.
The move is an attempt to cut down on illegal parking, after the penalty for footpath parking was doubled earlier this month.
A transport advocacy group says increasing clamping fees isn't the lone answer to Dublin's congestion problem.
Minister Eamonn Ryan has backed a move that would see local authority clamp release charges increase from 80 euro to 125 euro from next month.
It's an attempt to deter vehicles from passing through Dublin city centre.
