One person complained that the forecast was "sun, sun, sun", but instead there was a "big blob of cloud".
Over 150 people wrote to Met Éireann this year to complain about its weather forecasts.
According to Freedom of Information files obtained by the Irish Daily Mail, the first complaint came on New Year's Day, when one complainant said they could have mistaken it for April 1st because of the forecast.
In March, a man complained that he unnecessarily abandoned a planned outing because of an inaccurate weather prediction.
Promises of sunshine also annoyed people, with one person complaining the forecast was "sun, sun, sun", but instead there was a "big blob of cloud".
