Concerns Raised Over Traffic Management After Car Driven Into Crowds During Liverpool Parade

27 people were hospitalised and a further 20 injured when a car was driven at crowds of football fans yesterday.

The Mayor of Liverpool City says he understands why people may have questions about how yesterday's parade was organised.

27 people were hospitalised and a further 20 injured when a car was driven at crowds of football fans yesterday.

One man was arrested in the immediate aftermath, and quickly described as a white local man in his 50s.

Mayor Steve Rotheram says the police must be given space to complete their investigation.
