Today it's launching its Christmas Fundraising Appeal to safeguard the vulnerable this winter.

Half of those experiencing homelessness in Dublin are single adults, according to the Dublin Simon Community.

The charity provided support to over 7,000 people last year, which included emergency accommodation, medical treatment, and counselling services last year.
