ESB To Recruit 1,000 People To Drive Net Zero Plan

As part of the expansion, ESB will hire more than 300 graduates, apprentices and trainees.

The ESB is creating 1000 new jobs.

It'll be recruiting qualified electricians, along with IT, finance, engineering and customer service staff over the next 3 years.

The firm is also looking for qualified electricians, those with experience in offshore wind and renewables and data scientists.

As part of the expansion, ESB will hire more than 300 graduates, apprentices and trainees.

The new hires will help deliver the ESB's 'Driven to Make a Difference: Net Zero by 2040' strategy which will see new infrastructure, services and customer-focused solutions to achieve net zero emissions.

ESB Group currently employs approximately 8,000 people across its businesses, including ESB Networks, Electric Ireland, ESB International and Smart Energy Services.
