It'll be recruiting qualified electricians, along with IT, finance, engineering and customer service staff over the next 3 years.
The firm is also looking for qualified electricians, those with experience in offshore wind and renewables and data scientists.

The new hires will help deliver the ESB's 'Driven to Make a Difference: Net Zero by 2040' strategy which will see new infrastructure, services and customer-focused solutions to achieve net zero emissions.
ESB Group currently employs approximately 8,000 people across its businesses, including ESB Networks, Electric Ireland, ESB International and Smart Energy Services.
