Fianna Fáil TDs And Senators Set For Pre-Christmas Assessment Of Presidential Campaign

The Parliamentary Party members demanded a set date from the Taoiseach last night.

Fianna Fáil TDs and Senators can expect a full review into the party's presidential election campaign before Christmas.

The Parliamentary Party met last night, where members demanded a set date from the Taoiseach, which still has not been given.

It's currently being reviewed by Jim Gavin's lawyers.

However, it is understood that it should be next Monday or Tuesday next week as Micheál Martin is out of the country from Wednesday to attend a European Council.

Many people believe it will be convenient for Micheál Martin - particularly if the report includes a few things uncomplimentary about him and then to present it on the 23rd of December.
