She has been banned from standing in the 2027 presidential election
France's far-right leader Marine Le Pen has been jailed.
She's been given a four-year term, of which two will be suspended, meaning she'll serve some of the sentence behind bars.
The politician had been named in some polls as a favourite to become the president in 2027 elections - but she's been banned from standing, for five years.
It's all because a court found her guilty of misappropriating EU money, to pay for her party's staff.
