Some victims who contacted the account directly to demand their photos be removed were asked for photos of other people in exchange.
Image Based Sexual Abuse, better known as Revenge Porn, has been an offence here since February of last year.
Gardai are urging anyone who suspects they are a victim of image based sexual abuse to report it to their nearest station.
