Garda watchdog says "limitations on resourcing" have held it back
The Garda watchdog says it should be able to search a Garda station without seeking permission from the force.
GSOC has welcomed new powers of investigation proposed in a draft bill, which it says will "streamline" its work.
The planned law would see complaints against Gardaí automatically sent to the agency, and minors over 16 could complain without parental permission.
GSOC says "limitations on resourcing" have held it back on delivering its mandate in the past, and said it needs more staff and resources.
