Kfm Recruiting News Journalists: Full-Time & Part-Time

Full-tme & part-time Saturday and/or Sunday positions. Location: Kfm Broadcast Centre, Naas.

Kfm - Kildare’s No.1 Radio Station

THE NEWS ROLE is an important one, requiring:

A high standard of News generation, scripting and on-air reading

Scripting and on-air reading of hourly sports bulletins.

Social Media/Website updating: text and video.

Excellent News production values

There will be opportunities for the full-time journalist of live contributions to the station’s anchor current affairs programme: Kildare Today.

The successful candidate for the full-time position will have a 3^rd level Media qualification and/or journalism experience relevant to the role.

Applications from recent Media graduates welcome, as full training will be given.

Applications for the part-time weekend position (Saturday and/or Sunday) : above qualifications desirable, but we, also, invite applications from Media Journalism students in the final year of their course.
