THE NEWS ROLE is an important one, requiring:
- A high standard of News generation, scripting and on-air reading
- Scripting and on-air reading of hourly sports bulletins.
- Social Media/Website updating: text and video.
- Excellent News production values
There will be opportunities for the full-time journalist of live contributions to the station’s anchor current affairs programme: Kildare Today.
The successful candidate for the full-time position will have a 3rd level Media qualification and/or journalism experience relevant to the role.
Applications from recent Media graduates welcome, as full training will be given.
Applications for the part-time weekend position (Saturday and/or Sunday) : above qualifications desirable, but we, also, invite applications from Media Journalism students in the final year of their course.
