Kishogue Train Station is in Lucan, and works on it finished 13 years ago..
An update from the National Transport Authority to TD Emer Higgins says 'various works' need to be undertaken there before it can be used.
However, the authority adds it's unable to indicate when the station will be operational after the maintenance is completed.
Kishogue Railway Station was built in 2009 at a reported cost of over 6 million euro, but has never welcomed a single passenger.
