Nightclubs are demanding to know whether they can open their doors again next Friday.
As part of a final lifting of Covid restrictions, nightclubs and late venues are due to reopen on October 22nd, while the Covid vaccine cert requirement is due to be abolished.
But the government will make a final decision on Tuesday, due to the worsening Covid situation.
The HSE says rising Covid hospitalisations are placing a 'significant burden' on the health service.
