Gardaí have arrested a man in his 20’s following a €720,000 cannabis seizure made by Revenue officers at Dublin Airport yesterday, Saturday 2nd March 2024.
Approximately 36 kg of herbal cannabis was discovered when Revenue officers searched the baggage of a passenger who had disembarked a flight.
The man (20's) was arrested and detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at a Garda Station in Dublin.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before The Criminal Courts of Justice Dublin, tomorrow morning, Monday 4th March 2024.
Investigations are ongoing.
