A man in his 80s has died in a hit-and-run incident in County Meath.
The cyclist was hit by a car at Batterstown, Ballivor just before 10 this morning.
He was discovered unresponsive, and was removed to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown where he was pronounced dead.
The road is closed for technical examination and gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
