A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of committing organised crime offences is being questioned at a Garda station in Meath.
It follows a a major cocaine and cash seizure on the Dublin/Meath border.
It was part of a planned Garda operation involving the Defence Forces and the Criminal Assets Bureau.
The Assistant Commissioner of Organised and Serious Crime says this seizure has taken a substantiall amount of cocaine off the streets.
Gardai stopped two vehicles on Monday afternoon in the Ward area on the Dublin/ Meath border where they found an estimated 1.2 million euro worth of cocaine.

350 thousand euro in cash and 28 thousand pounds sterling was also found - along with financial documents, vehicles, electronic devices, a money counter and a vacuum-packing machine.
