A large amount of Gardaí remain at the scene. No arrests have yet been made and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
An incident room has been set up at Kilmainham Garda Station.
Any road users who have camera footage, including dashcam, and were travelling on the South Circular Road in the Kilmainham area this morning, June 24th, are asked to make the footage available to Gardaí.
