Data suggests new Covid 19 strain brings increased risk of reinfection.

Pfizer and BioNTech are among the vaccine manufacturers insisting they'll be able adapt their products if the Omicron variant continues to spread.

Data suggests the new Covid 19 strain - first identified in South Africa - brings an increased risk of reinfection.

The World Health Organistation's calling it a "variant of concern".

But Jonathan Ball - a professor of molecular virology - says we shouldn't get ourselves into a "frenzy".
