36-year-old Sandra Boyd died following the shooting in Finglas on Saturday night.
Gardai this morning arrested a man in his 20s in connection with the fatal shooting.
He was arrested on suspicion of murder, and is currently detained at Finglas Garda Station where he can be questioned for up to 7 days.
