According to freedom of information figures, it's a 15% increase on 2021.

It's a 15% increase on 2021, there was also an increase in the number of people leaving the organisation long before reaching retirement age.

1,675 people aged between 40 and 50 resigned or retired - an increase of 326.
These totals are up significantly on 2020, when a total of 7,413 HSE staff left the organisation.
