Protests Erupt In Israel As Netanyahu Pushes For Full Control Of Gaza

The European Commission is calling for the Israeli Prime Minister to halt military operations in Gaza.

Protests are being held in Israel, after its security cabinet announced plans to expand military operations in Gaza.

Outside the US consulate in Tel Aviv, a large message in the sand calls for the end of Benjamin Netanyahu’s war.

The Israeli Prime Minister wants full control of the Gaza strip, a move which would displace tens of thousands of Palestinians.

The European Commission is calling for the Israeli Prime Minister to halt military operations in Gaza.

European Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyen, says the decision needs to be reconsidered, and ‘unhindered aid’ needs to be delivered to the territory.

UNICEF Spokesperson, James Elder, says total control of Gaza will be absolutely devastating for civilians.
