The High Court has an arrest warrant out for him and this morning he has been picked up in Dubai.
Sean McGovern was injured during the Regency Hotel shooting in 2016 but didn’t cooperate with the garda investigation.
Justice Minister Helen McEntee says while she can’t comment on any individual case those involved in organised crime should know there is no hiding place and they will face justice.
