'Connecting Communities with Peatlands'
A series of workshops are taking place across the Midlands to "support communities engage with their local peatlands."
'Connecting Communities with Peatlands' will host the workshops, one of which is taking place on Saturday 4th December.
The aim of the workshops is to aid community groups "assess their training needs to build local capacity to engage with peatlands.
A workshop will take place on Saturday, at the Bog of Allen Nature Centre beginning at 9.30am until 2.30pm, which includes a tour of Lodge Bog.

The project is funded by the National Just Transition Fund & co-ordinated by Irish Rural Link & the Community Wetlands Forum.
