The incident happened this morning in Kilgarvan.
Seven people have been taken to hospital after a crash in south Kerry.
A crane, bus and car were involved in the incident which happened at Loo Bridge, Kilgarvan at around 11am.
It's believed the collision occurred when the crane, which was on the back of a truck, collided with a bus travelling in the opposite direction.
In a statement Gardai say the driver of one vehicle was taken to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries.
The road is currently closed and will remain closed this afternoon.
