A tourism lobby group is joining calls for a one-off Bank Holiday to be introduced in September to help the sector recover.
The Taoiseach Micheal Martin last week told the Dáil the proposal is being kep under review.
It's being suggested to help the hospitality sector and show appreciation for the roles played by key workers during the pandmeic.
