The mother-of-two had suffered a violent death at her home in Ballymun.
A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with the murder of Lisa Thompson in Ballymun in Dublin in May.
The pair, both in their 30s, are being questioned at separate Dublin Garda Stations.
The body of Lisa Thompson was discovered on Tuesday the 10th of May at her home in Sandyhill Gardens.
The mother-of-two had suffered a violent death and had received a significant number of stab wounds.
It's believed the 52 year old was stabbed to death during an attack before being discovered by neighbours.
Gardaí said that there had been no evidence of threats being made against Lisa before she was killed, and that her death shocked the local community.
At her memorial service last month, she was remembered as a woman with a belief in fairness and justice, and a friendly, caring person who had dreams for her future.
