The pair in their 40s appeared before Dublin District Court today charged with two counts of unlawful possession of two baseball bats capable of causing serious injury.
40 year-old Wayne Spellman of Fernwood Avenue, Springfield and 45 year-old Darren Spellman of Cushlawn Road were granted bail for 200 euro on condition to stay out of a specific Tallaght housing estate and to sign on at their local Garda Station once a week.
The men have yet to enter a plea and must appear before Tallaght District Court later this month.
