The SU had previously raised concerns about student accommodation being used for short-term tourist lets.

The Tánaiste has said he thought a controversial letter from Mr. Keegan was a Waterford Whispers article.
He also said it wasn't the city council's fault the Students' Union didn't know how planning applications work.
