Woman (20s) Dead Following Car Crash In County Waterford

The crash involved a lorry and a car.

A woman in her 20s has died after a crash in County Waterford.

It happened at half eight this morning on the N25 at Faha near Kilmacthomas.

The crash involved a lorry and a car, with the car's driver pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman's body has been taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford, where a post-mortem examination will take place.

The driver of the lorry was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
