The drivers of both cars were taken to Sligo University Hospital for treatment and assessment
A woman in her 50s has died in a road crash in Co Leitrim.
The two-car collision happened on the R280 at Lisnabrack, Carrick on Shannon shortly before 6 o'clock yesterday evening.
The road remains closed this morning and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí asking anyone with dash-cam or video footage of the R280 around the time of the crash to contact them at Carrick on Shannon Garda Station.
