An elderly woman has died in a crash in Co. Clare overnight.
The single car collision happened in Miltown Malbay, at approximately 12:30am.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 90s was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman's body has since been removed to Limerick University Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will take place.
